#4 Cortina D'amperezzo is first time in the U.S for D'Amato, this Euro's 3rd race of career while stretching out in distance, with the best speed figures in $#5, Yurak is a $950K Tapit Filly with an affiliation to run long for Sadler. the group, should fire her best shot. #6 Counterbalance has been working great, and is going long on the turf for the first time, but Kimura is the perfect jock to navigate this trip. LONG SHOT NOTICE, #3 Rabid Response is a Pedigree play, Sire stats for 1st time starters is 29% win rate, while the Dam's foals are 38% first time win rate. Note: This normally does not happen, this horse is precocious and may surprise at 8-1 morning line.
Race 7 - A)1 B)3,5,8
#1 Sammy Davis looks tough for the 3rd race of his career. 'Sammy' should sit just off the speed of #7 Fionello and get the first jump. "Sammy" is definitely working better than his competitors. #3 Saul Elliott was impressive first time out but then bled in a $225K Stakes race in Kentucky. 3rd race of his young career, this O'Neil trainee could be right there at the finish. #5 Thirsty Rebel wins this race if he repeats his first. I am always leery after a top speed figure first out and concerned he may bounce (regress). It has been 48 days since his last race, so O'Neil might be able to get this horse to fire another big shot. #8 Pavlovian could be an interesting player. This horse ran a good 2nd place in the G3 Best Pal Stakes. O'Neil and Rispoli are always a profitable combination.
Race 8 - A)6,7,9,10. B)1,5,8
#7 Penny Worth is the tepid choice in this challenging race. Penny's 3rd race of her career and stretching out may be just what she was looking for. #6 French Moonlight had a good second exactly 6 weeks ago beating #1 We the Hobby, this horse should be rested and ready to fire a big shot. #9 Ridegold loses Hernandez, but gets Berrios aboard, and has been working lights out. #10 Sparta F.C. will take them as far as she can, she is a 4 year old so might have the maturity to get the job done.
