JP has been an avid horseplayer since 1981, when he first started going to the track with his Dad and best friend. He specializes in Southern California racing, with a focus on the increasingly popular player-friendly exotics - The Late $3 Pick 3 and the $5 Late Daily Double.
JP's handicapping approach relies primarily on Thoro-Graph performance figures, a tool he believes provides the most accurate read on a horse's true performance. He also factors in race shape, workout reports and trip handicapping. A firm believer that ticket construction is just as important as handicapping itself, JP spends equal time crafting his wagers as he does analyzing the races.

Race 8: A). 1,7,3 B)6,10
1 Unrivaled Time has an advantage over the rest of the field, this 3 year-old colt has never been on lasix and has by far the best Thorograph speed figures, it remains to be seen if the other horses can run as good with lasix. Time' has bee freshened and comes back with Blinkers On. Ayuso is one of the best turf jockeys and he gets the rail. #7 Third Beer has been running 6 straight races going long on the turf. Yakteen has freshened this horse for 51 days. #6 Ventry Strand is another Sadler horse taht seems to be doing well. #3 He's A Knockout is making his 3rd lifetime start and should be fit. #10 Scatalotadingdong might like the 9 panels, the is another that is off lasix so who know how he will run without it - works are good.
Race 9: A) 1,2,5,9
There are a few horses that are very close on speed figures. #1 Cowboy Mike is going down in class and adding blinkers. # 2 Known Idea will be stalking the pace. #5 Start The Ride is going back to dirt after trying the dirt and #9 Sir Percival is an improving 4-year-old with a nice outside post trying dirt for the first time. I think we can lock this race up with these 4.

#1 Robin Olds was unlucky last time, lost by a nose and was DQ'd. Working good and we get Ayuso on the rail! #5 Oracle Of Paradise gets back to routing and gets Rosario. #3 Doing Time has some great speed figures and is a nice 15/1 lonshot
